This is Ampy and John story
How we meet….. It all started with a blind date that nor John or I knew about. I went to the bowling isle with my sister as John went to the same bowling isle with his brother. As we both thought we were just hanging out with our siblings. It was just all a rare coincidence because I was told John wanted to meet me and he was told I wanted to meet him all though we had no idea we were going up there to meet each other. But, when we were introduced to each other we hit it off instantly. We found an instant bond with each other. From that day on we grew to learn much about each other and found we had the same mutual friends and never knew it through the years. Over the next six years John and I grew close to each other and becoming to know one another by the many adventures and experiences we had together such as ATV rides, cruises, romantic dinners, and also being beside each other even on those rainy days.

The Proposal….. On September 11, 2006 (AKA Ampy’s 24th birthday), I woke up to John bringing me breakfast in bed with roses. After I got up and refreshed my self I was surprised with a stand up jewelry box waiting for me in the kitchen. As that wasn’t enough already we spent the whole day together laughing and having a grand time just hanging out in the Woodlands. During the day he took me to a spa to get my nails and pedicure done. We stopped at Potbelly’s to have lunch. For the rest of the day we strolled around Market Street enjoying the nice cool sunny weather. We came home and he had a formal black dress lying on the bed and said he would like to finish the great day by taking me to one more place. On the way to our destination he sang to me Billy Dean ‘If there hadn’t been you” a tear came running down my cheek knowing he meant every word that he sang. When we got to our destination he had rented to entire top floor of Jaspers Restaurant in the Woodlands and another rose waited for me with candle light which read, “Sweetie, may this be the best birthday ever.” I was speechless. I felt like a celebrity all the treatment I was given throughout the day. The head chef and the owner himself came out with desert after dinner and it was a platter that read Happy Birthday with Lots of Love, it had a sample of all the deserts with a martini glass in the middle which held a sparkling rock. I could not obtain myself and I went broke down in tears and trembling as he got on one knee and ask will you be my wife forever. Of course, I said yes. As I thought that was the end of the night we went to the Marriot in the woodlands as he had it all decked out with decorations: a dozen of roses, rose pedals ever were, champagne, chocolate cover strawberries, jelly beans that spelt out I Love You. What crossed my mind was, “how more passionate and romantic can one person get? I am the luckiest women in the world to deserve a man with so much love to give.” When we woke up the next day and came home he had one last surprise a year worth of bridal magazines. I don’t think I could have planned the most memorable wedding with out John in my life.

Congratulation to Mr & Mrs Ampy & John Gabriel!!
